1. For sale is a lovely Yamaha BB300. Anyone who has played these will know they are incredible value for money. The necks are very comfortable and they are built like absolute tanks, try as you might you just won't break the bugger! In my opinion these are seriously undervalued at this price, usually for sale at around the £200.00 mark from what I can see but it's surplus to requirements and I need the money for a bathroom, so I'm selling a few basses - it's that simple. Comes complete with three good strings, I pinched the fourth as I snapped a G string on my other bass before Christmas. Will post at buyers expense and risk etc, or happy to meet for petrol within reason, or anyone can come and try it at my place in Middlesbrough.
2. Hi buddy, yes sorry my mistake - I'm in Middlesbrough!
3. Here's a lovely brand spanking Yamaha BB234 which I bought from the Yamaha shop in London just before Christmas for £325.00. It was a spur of the moment purchase as I was very impressed with the quality for the price; the reason for sale is I have been after a Fender RW precision in sunburst for a while, and one came up on here so I took the plunge, and with that and my USA p this won't get much of a look in and I could do with clawing some cash back! It's lovely to play, absolutely spotless and still with the plastic cover on the pick guard, also comes with the Yamaha gig bag I got from the very helpful guys in the store in London. It differs from the older BB models in that it has a blend control rather than the old style switch, so obviously there's loads of tones to play with. I'd prefer this to be picked up or meet somewhere, but will post at buyers expense and risk if needs be. I just hate the thought of basses being damaged by couriers!

5. Bass chatters - please help! Can anyone share this on any Facebook bass pages and forums around the country? This is my old musicman bass, it looks a bit orange in the pictures but its like a mild sparkle red with matching head stock. I traded it into a shop in darlington about 6 years ago, has this ended up with anyone? Would love to know it's where abouts and possibly make an offer to buy it back!
6. Apologies, what am I thinking - it IS the 50s classic p bass lacquer body, with the RW jazz neck and 62 pick ups. Thanks for the correction!
7. This has been my main gigging bass for about a year. I got the body and neck separately from Stratosphere and then added some Fender 62 RI pick ups... the body was £450.00, neck £350.00 and pick ups were £100.00. It's really thin nitro finish and is already showing that road worn look, with chips and the paint thinning in areas - I think another two years playing and this will develop a real genuine road worn look. The finish feels absolutely different to poly. The neck is great, typical roadworn, feels so played in and looks the part too of course. Reason for sale is I'm now playing P bass necks so this has been hanging on my wall for 3 months with no use, it's beautiful and needs playing and I'd rather have the cash! I'll happily send this bass through courier on a 24 hour service included in the price, or if anyone wants to collect I'm in Stockton on Tees. I think with the body, neck and gold anodised pick guard and the upgraded pick ups, this is a beauty. Feel free to message with any questions!
8. I have here a Fender road worn jazz bass neck, made in 2016. Like everyone of these I've personally ever played, it really does feel years old and 'broken in' so to speak. Looking for £225.00 delivered, will send via Interlink 24 hour courier.
9. Now priced to sell at £400.00 due to buying a new American Standard.... £400.00 delivered via 24 hour courier.
10. Yeah white is great but don't like the way that over time it goes cream... so I went for the black instead.
11. Bit of a feeler here, as this is not getting as much playing action as it should! I'm very fond of this bass so if it doesn't sell I won't be heartbroken. I bought this after the christmas gig period feeling flush, and it's great - very personalised, but third in my line of gigging basses, so wondering if I should move it on. It's a black P Bass body, nitro finish, with the gold anodized pick guard. Bought from stratosphere. Already starting to age, the nitro paint is much thinner than poly finishes. The bridge came as part of the body so it's whatever bridge is on the 60's nitro re issue as standard. The neck is a roadworn jazz, dated 2015. Plays like a typical neck from any of the road worn jazz basses I've played, very comfortable, thin frets, feels played in. The pick ups were also retro fit, american vintage 62 re issue, the same that are in the American Standard P bass. Plays really well, less than 6 months old, looks lovely as you can see from the pics. Any questions let me know. I can post this in a hardcase for £40.00 extra as I have one I don't use, otherwise postage will be via interlink and will be £10.00. Can easily take more pics if anyone wants them! 12. Very interested mate, after buying a black one similar. Would you do a trade for a Japanese 87 p bass special (think duff Mckagen!)? Thanks Steve
13. Dood - yes that's absolutely correct. Duff went to Seymour Duncan pick ups, but these aren't those... and I have a black jazz bass special too and the poles are definitely different. Both of Duffs original jazz bass specials have the black neck, both of mine have the maple neck with the skunk stripe. His neck is somewhere between a jazz and a precision, which I would personally say both my models are in terms of width, however they are shallower than a normal P bass profile neck. I tried a duff signature when they first came out, to my hand the neck wasn't quite quite as comfortable (obviously subjective) and personally all I can say is the Japanese originals sounded better to my ears. This is a really great bass and a massive bonus For a guns fan, so if it doesn't sell... I don't be heartbroken!
14. Yeah, I suspect they are replacements. I have the black version of this which is def all original and the poles are slightly smaller. It's the same sound though, pretty much identical to my ear - anyone looking for that Duff treble mid sound which cuts and 'clunks' through can def get it with this. Regarding the value, I know they were always priced at around the £400.00 mark, but in all honesty I think they are way better than that. I've played £700.00 - £1000.00 fenders that aren't as good as either of my jazz bass specials, and it's pretty subjective... being a massive Guns fan I was happy to buy it for that price at the time and I think to anyone looking for one of these, they are 'worth' the £600.00 price. Had a couple of 'experts' on Facebook telling me how much this is worth, which annoyed me slightly as they had no interest in the bass at all. It's worth what someone will pay for it, that's always the way of the world surely... I know a power JBS just sold on here for £600.00 and I think these are comparable. In all honesty if it doesn't sell I won't be bothered. It's absolutely worth more than £400.00 to me anyway haha!
