1. Simply beautiful!!
2. I recall seeing this bass in 'Bassist' magazine when he had it done I guess. For some reason it stuck in my head and my memory was telling me they were available to the public and over the years I've had the odd (obviously)fruitless search. After reading 66Dave's post I can see why now ( duh :-/ ) He uses the fretless part for nothing more than slides down the neck. They were a 'kin crazy outfit, non musicians with real anarchy appeal. It's a shame Fender never released that Jazz bass, it would be quite a bit of fun. Check this out mwah ha ha ha ha https://youtu.be/4bmBF17jBEs
3. Very nicely done Rob, the bass looks fab too.

Ibanez

I love old Ibanez basses. That would be lovely in my jam room.
5. Big commissions in these specialist shops. I asked as it has a large used section I like to keep an eye on. Good luck with the sale.
6. Is the Bass now at Bass Direct or out on tour with you?
7. Amazing looking bass, must be very sweet.
8. Hi, Where is this made? I can't decipher the details on the back panel Cheers Col
9. I wish I was that lucky In all fairness it's a cash sale and I can only offer a trade. That's both of us with this bass on our minds.
10. Is this the Boss ME 50 guitar fx or ME 50B bass fx?
11.
OK I spent some money on this bass, but I didn't buy it because of Entwistle, but because it was a real masterpiece built by Rob Green; this complex form out of one mould was a real challenge, and I'm still waiting for someone else to build a bass like this with carbon fiber! This one was the prototype, no serial number, no roman inlays, slightly different electronics, played and tested by John Entwistle. But I bought this Buzzard to play it live, and I take it to gigs when the stage is large enough, you're right, I don't want to hurt anybody . The sound of a Status Buzzard 1 is ... well something completely different from any other bass, wood or carbon made. It's not a studio bass, it's the most terrifying bass for live gigs and played VERY LOUD!
The Buzzard 1 my favourite ever bass!!! I've owned a few Warwick LTD buzzards and even managed a Status B2 which was awesome. I've never had the financial clout to buy a B1 though. You must be very proud.....I hope the stars align and I can buy one some day. It's stunning mate!! Pics of some of my past basses, my Black Warwick LTD is missing though.
12. My very lovely Ritter Classic 2004 has had a number of valuations but the most sensible I've had is for £3000. The previous owner paid a great deal more, the folks at Ritter quoted me £8.5 gbp to have it built now. Probably the most expensive bass I'll ever own. What impresses me is that In comparison to other 'nice' instruments is that I can really see, feel and hear why Jens Ritters' products are so highly regarded and valuable. The quality is tangible, these things are always subjective though.
13. The best company for amps, sales and service. Absolutely awesome!!!!
