D’Addario Pro Steels XL Long Scale 40-100 I bought these to try but only fitted the E string briefly as I prefer the feel of nickels. The G,D and A are new as only the E was cut for a P bass and fitted for about five minutes. Price includes UK postage.

Electro-Harmonix Clone Theory Vintage Chorus Pedal NYC Made 70’s/80’s This is the one made famous in the 80’s by musicians including Peter Hook, John McGeoch and again later by Kirk Cobain. You can get sweeping chorus, subtle vibrato, to mad flange and synth like sounds from this unit. It’s a hard wired mains unit and the casing has plenty of dings and touch ups to the paint. It works perfectly and sounds great. These are quite rare now. I’ve owned two and this is the one that is all original. It’s an old pedal and like most vintage EH gear a bit noisy but it’s not a particular issue for live gigs.

This is a genuine Fender bridge for a 70’s bass or custom build. It has slot headed grub screws on the saddle rather than the Allen key types. It comes without mounting screws. I bought it as NOS and it hasn’t been used. Price includes UK postage.

Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 These are great amps well known for their tonal versatility and power to weight ratio. It is in excellent working condition with a few minor scratches and blemishes to the casing. Pickup preferred so you can try it through my cab but I’m happy to post at buyer’s expense in the UK only. It comes with mains lead and a gig-bag the rubber feet are missing from the amp and I suspect they were taken off so it would fit neatly in the bag. I’d consider trades on a Bergantino 12 cab, Markbass LM head or even a Nano. I’ve reduced the sale price as I have my eye on a cab.

This was mine and is a gorgeous bass. Feels manageable with a wide strap even for a glass back like me. GLWTS Martin - this is a great price for a Precision of this era.

It’s as described and being sold for the reasons stated - no catch. No gigbag or case either. It comes with the original inspection tag and yes it is a bargain.

It’s not been repaired although regularly PAT tested and serviced. It’s always been very reliable. Not sure about the source of your info however I’m not questioning it. The ‘Combo Head II’ as it’s labelled on the control panel I had assumed was the same as the Little Mark II but to my ears it sounds the best of all the CMD mini combos. It certainly is heavier than the later version I had (and sold on) that was around 12kgs. That version had a later preamp and just didn’t have the tone this one has. Thanks for the info!

Sandberg Electra VS4 Bass I bought this a week ago as back up for my Sandberg California VS4. It’s a superb bass - high quality, great sound and bullet proof construction. It plays as good as my German made Sandberg. It’s near new condition and set up with Rotosound roundwounds. So why am I selling so quickly? I should have done more research. This is an active bass and unlike my California VS or the more recent Electra versions it doesn’t have the push/pull on/off active circuit thing. It is a very versatile bass but not for me as I use my California as a passive bass only. So I’m hoping to move it on and buy another German VS4 or a new version Electra. It hands down beats any other basses I’ve played in this price range for quality. It weighs 3.7kgs so easy on the shoulder. I can post in the UK at buyer’s cost if you can’t pick it up in person. Markbass Mini CMD 121P It’s an Italian made one and had been used for gigs and rehearsals regularly. A bit OTT for a practice amp as it’s really loud for its size but that’s what I’ve been using it for recently. It has the older - and in my view more practical - LMII preamp. Very good condition, some signs of use and slight bobbling to the carpet covering. It has been gigged with PA support and has not been pushed hard by me in rehearsals. Thanks - it does the job! I did it with basic hand tools so the screw holes aren’t countersunk correctly. The drill bit I bought for the job just chewed up the plastic I tried it on so I had to improvise and they aren’t as deep as I would’ve liked.
