I hope this is the right section to put this in, was torn between 'Amps and Cabs' and 'Accessories'! Thought I'd just share this with everyone, it's a little discovery I made. Long story short, I ordered a laptop DJ stand, and when it arrived one of the bits that holds the laptop was kinked, when I emailed them about it I was sent a new one for free (great service!). I was then left with this useless but mostly very sturdy laptop stand. I found that if I removed the bits that hold a laptop it works perfectly as a tilt stand for my LMK III - which is really useful when you only use a 1x12 cab. The level of tilt is also adjustable! Here's the link to the stand And here is a picture for proof! It fits so perfectly it's unreal!

Selling my MIDI cable that I had made by Pete at CustomLeadz (Surebuyz) to replace the flimsy thing that comes with an RC4. I get all my leads there now, great service and quality but I have no use for this as I sold my TC rig a while back. Van Damme Cable and Neutrik connectors, and a healthy 4 metres or so long. Only used to check it works (it does) - it cost me over £30 a couple of months ago. So selling for £16 posted. Can provide pictures on request. Cheers

Oh and did I mention, definitely a bit of a one-trick pony, but it's a good trick! I think I would always go for 2 1x12s though, so you can get them up higher. But if that's not an issue their cabs are great value, especially used.

I had one for a couple of years, and it was great. I had the Iso 2x10 and it sounded amazing, have also played the same amp with 2x12s and didn't notice a huge difference. Always found it very reliable and had a lot of people snigger when I walked in with it until they heard how huge it could sound.
How do your find the comfort strap? I have looked at them, but not sure about them. Those barefoot straps look great, might drop him a message to see if you he can do one with a slightly different brown. Any others?
I really like mine, really comfy and spreads the weight, but I can understand why some wouldn't like them. Cheapest place is the Gallery, Camden that I've found, I think I might get some more soon!

Bought Dave's LMII off him and it's rather good. Postage got a bit delayed but that was the company's fault not Dave's and he was very apologetic and even rang to explain the situation, so credit to him. Thanks a lot

I am only 5"8 and have the same issue. I find a 'short' Comfort Strapp on the shortest setting is okay for me. According the the internet their shortest is 33" which is just under 84cm so might be your best bet. Would be interested to hear any other options from others though!

I don't know a huge amount about double bass but I do have a Poller which is Romanian made. I haven't played many double basses but when I took it to some specialists to have the pickup installed they told me it was a great bass for the price I got it! Think I got mine for about 600, but still! Reading that back, I don't know if i helped at all...

Selling my RS112 as I have some Purple Chili Cabs being made by Mike. I will be picking the new ones up on the 3rd July so looking to sell at a similar sort of time! It's in pretty much perfect condition, I will get some pics for those interested. I have installed some little rubber stick on feet to stop it being marked, which has worked a dream along with the TC cover which cost me £30 and I'll throw in. Looking for £260. Would prefer pickup but am happy to post at cost as I still have the box! Alternatively, when I pick them up on the 3rd I will be driving round most of the top of the M25 so meeting might be possible! Based in South Bucks but might be happy to meet somewhere else for petrol. Cheers Dan

I've owned at different times a RH450, RS210c (the one with the cubby hole) and still have a RS112. They are all good bits of gear: I found the RH450 a bit complicated for my liking although it sounded good but did colour the sound (not in a bad way, but it has a dark-ish sound). I sold the head to get something more suited to my simple self. The RS210c was pretty good, but too heavy for me (I have back issues though - it is very light for a 210 really) and replaced it with the RS112 which I still have. The 112 is very small from the front but actually surprisingly deep - and rear ported so on a shallow stage can be a pain but i really like the sound, it gives plenty of warmth. I'm toying with either getting another RS112 or getting a pair of Purple Chili 1x12 cabs made. If you are interested in the RS112 let me know - I might let it go for the right price. Also, there's been a lot of issues with the finish of TC cabs. I think all the ones I've had are 'new finish' but it's still easy to chip as I discovered on the 210. As soon as I got the 1x12 I got a cover and bought some little stick on feet which have saved the finish (only a couple of quid online), I'd recommend doing the same if you get them! -
Another vote for Doc's Proplugs here - relatively cheap, but work great and are really comfortable. Also, not sure if this point has been made, but they aren't really visible from stage. Not that wearing earplugs should be considered a bad thing, but I personally prefer the low profile plugs rather than having a couple of bright sticks poking out of my ears!
I agree with this, and for the price you can get a few, one for each guitar case and not worry too much about losing them, which I would with moulded ones. They're are so invisible I can wear them without anyone knowing - which means around non-musician judgemental friends!
