1. I didn't see it last week for £300, but the point is a price increase of 16.6% in one week sounds like hyperinflation to me, regardless of how good an amp Alfie thinks it is. It's not a bad amp by any means, but it's not up there with hard-wired, point to point amps with heavyweight transformers. Judging by the chorus of voices proclaiming it as the bargain of the year at £350, all I can say is, why don't you buy it then?
 2.
Exactly. Price is £350
No thanks.
 3.
i have put a higher price on it as i'm not going to give it away and the lower price was to shift it quickly, which it hasn't. Will trade for a G&L Tribute SB-2 bass.
I am confused! "The lower price was to shift it quickly, which it hasn't [so you have] put a higher price on it." Have I got that right? I can't see the logic here. What is your price?

 5. Is this amp still available? Have you got all the original packaging and documentation for posting? Is there an authentication certificate with the amp? Do you know what valves went into it?

 7. Is the amp still available? If nothing to trade, what kind of price are you looking for?
 8.
This is a Pre Fender All Valve SWR Redhead. It sounds great and is in good condition. It is also capable of running in 2 ohms with an extension cabinet. £375 or PX for a 5 string bass. Thanks
I think I'm right in saying that the preamp contains one valve and the power amp is solid state. Can you confirm please? Is everything working well on the amp? Does this one have the front panel that clips off?
 9.
that sounds like a good idea for an option.
I was put onto this cab a few days ago by a member of this forum and see that this cab is getting a lot of praise. The compact and vintage probably appeal to valve users and 'traditionalists' with the silver grille cloth. The paint-on textured finish doesn't seem to make sense, though. Why not offer a tolex version with high quality grille cloth, perhaps in two or three shades (a la Mesa) to look the part sitting there underneath a good valve amp. Just a thought...
 10.
I injured my index finger a couple of months ago and bought a big supply of picks to get me through rehearsals and a big gig. I have 19 of the Dunlop Triangle in 0.88mm guage (green). I lost one, used a couple and the rest are unused. Great for clumsy big bass player hands, but now my finger is better, I'm back to using my preferred Nylon 1mm I also bought a 6 Dunlop Jazz XL picks to try them out as I like the idea of the sharp beveled end £5 for the lot including shipping.
I don't suppose you've still got these picks, have you? It's been a while since you wrote this.
 11. These 12" drivers lack the full, rich warmth and depth that you get with a 15" or 18". You can't cheat physics, unfortunately. I suppose the electronics attempt to compensate, though. How good is this amp when you try to emulate the richness and depth of a valve-driven large speaker bass amp?
