  1. Thank you very much guys. I am trying to sell my car for a few weeks now but it’s not happening for some reason. I really hope that the car will sell before the bass so I can keep it.
  2. EDIT: Now considering trades for a nice Precision Bass So, here is my pride and joy, once again brought to you by a personal financial crisis. I hope I’ll be able to keep it as I am also trying to sell some other stuff, and might withdraw it if they go. I will include more detailed pictures very soon. this is my 1984 Tokai Jazz Sound in a P-J configuration. Full Candy Apple Red including whole neck. Gold hardware that has tarnished over the years. The bass itself is in a really good condition, plenty of small dings and scratches, but nothing major (I find it very tasty looking). When I got it over a year ago I had it serviced by Mark Pressling who did an amazing job with the neck as it needed some fret dressing. Now it is set nice and low and is a dream to play. Not really sure what else to say, you just need to try it for yourself, these early Tokai basses were called Fender killers for a reason. This is ideally a collection only as I don’t drive anymore and I don’t have a case nor gig bag for it. However, I do have a box in my attic and could potentially wrap it very well if you wish to organise your own courier. I am based in London NW2, just off the M1. Any questions, do not hesitate to get in touch. Feel free to have a look at my feedback -
  3. Hey guys, I am trying to free some space and get rid of the things that I never really use for quite some time, and I could also do with some extra quids here and there. All prices include postage (2nd class) as I am not even sure how much it will be but I’ll take it on me. First, Palmer 60 pedalboard with it’s case. - Same thing as Pedaltrain, but cheaper, and back feet can be adjusted to your specific angle. Great condition as I didn’t take it out too often, just a bit of dust on the velcro but I’ll hoover it out before posting. £45 SOLD Mooer Macro Power S8 power supply. - Mint condition visually, but blue led on one of the outs stopped working, but it’s only led and it still powers the pedal without any issues. Includes all 8 connectors and a kettle lead and original box. £40 SOLD Behringer AB100 instrument selector. - Very simple tool to switch between two basses, or bass and a synth bass etc. Good condition, but no box. £15 Dr.J Sparrow Preamp - Cheap and cheerful preamp, mint condition and does the job quite well. Has velcro on the bottom. When I got it I have noticed a slight rattle inside and thought something is faulty, but it turned out to be a battery connector which I wasn’t aware that it actually has, so can be used without power supply. £35 SOLD TC Electronic Ditto Looper - everyone knows this little looper. Good condition, velcro at the bottom, no box. £35 SOLD Mooer Ensemble King - Cheap and cheerful chorus that sounds quite decent. Good condition with slight scuffing on the edges and velcro on the bottom. No box. £25 SOLD Behringer VB1 Vintage Dual Dynamic Filter - definitely a budget filter pedal, could be used as a spare or just to try it out. Very good condition, but noticed that the rubber feet are missing on the bottom. £15 Behringer CS400 Compressor Sustainer - nice copy of a Boss compressor/sustainer. Does the job fairly well, never had any issues even in a live situation. Comes with box. Now, I have noticed that these now are super cheap in some shops, so I can’t really compete, but I can do it posted for £15, but if you will be taking anything else from the list, I’ll take the price down to a tenner. SOLD Now, if for some reason you would like to get the whole lot, I’ll do a good deal of £150 just because it will save me time in packing them individually and having multiple trips to the post office. Payment by bank transfer or paypal, or you are more than welcome to stop by if you are anywhere near Cricklewood, NW London, or I might just drop it if you are not far from me. Here is my feedback thread for your peace of mind - https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/180278-feedback-for-mrnoisy/?tab=comments#comment-1712146
  4. Now only £260 collected! Hey guys, so this is just another item I need to sell to cover my car bill. I bought this cab just a few months back right here for exactly the same price and the plan was to use it with my Mini CMD121 combo as it is matched perfectly and I wanted that extra power for bigger gigs. Since then I have only tried it maybe a couple of times at home and never took it out as most of the gigs I played since then were small enough just to bring the combo. It is in great condition and would be perfect to pair with CMD121 or with any other amp, lightweight and just what you would expect from Markbass. Kinda sad to see it go without even taking it out, but finances are a bit more important at the moment. Collection preferred from NW London. I can consider dropping it off within reasonable distance for a little extra petrol money or meet half way. I would rather avoid posting it as I don't have the box for it, but it is rather urgent sale so if you are willing to organise your own courier I can try to sort something out to pack it. Any questions just message me. Thanks
  5. Forgot that I have a YouTube video on the 50’s Precision playing some Motown stuff.
  6. Thanks. Yes, I must say that the P bass is even more of a working man bass than Tokai. I always wanted one for ages after checking them in stores every time I’d go there. With these flats it’s so good that I even recently laid some bass tracks to a songs and it didn’t need any processing, just left it there dry and it sounds great. Tokai is just a bit more growly, even on the p pickup alone with tone rolled off. And with the car bills, I believe you. What is scaring me most is that every time something like that happens I find myself having to sell some gear as I’m always broke. Hard to be a musician sometimes.
  7. So while bumping the thread I just want to say that I do have already some takers for the Tokai, but now I think I will really regret letting it go, so P bass has priority for now, might even listen to the nearest offers on it, but my ride is already with the mechanic and will be ready to collect in a few days and then I’ll be forced to let the Tokai go.
  8. Hey, yes it is. I can pack it for you and you can organise your own courier.
  9. Thank you, I think the same. Beauty. There is actually someone who wants to take it already on the other platform that I have also used to list it, but I am waiting to see if maybe someone wants a Precision.
  10. My heart is aching but huge car repair bill forces sale (no trades please). I love both basses and only one has to go, but I can’t decide so once one of them will be taken I’ll keep the other one. If you are interested in one of them just message me for more pics and details. Sorry for poor pics, but it’s still quite dark and my phone camera isn’t the best in that situation. So, first is your ordinary Fender Classic 50’s Precision bass in the best colour. Sporting Thomastik flats. Gigged it more times than I can remember and it is just a working mans bass, sounds good in any situation. Nice, low action and very good condition with only some minor marks here and there. £500 Second bass is something more rare made in Japan ‘84 Tokai Jazz Sound with PJ pickup configuration, full candy apple red paint job (including back of the neck) and gold plated hardware. Unfortunately the plating is tarnished and comes off in some places, and there is much more wear and tear with dings and scratches, but that is to be expected from the instrument of that age that has been loved and gigged through the years. To me it looks beautiful and has that light relic vibe. Additionally when I first got it I had a fret dressing and set up done by Mark Pressling (who has worked for Fender Custom Shop and many major artist) who did an amazing work. It has a very nice, low action and great playability. Any bass player that tried it always loved it and didn’t want to hand it back to me. £600 and no offers on this one as it is rare, collectors bass as good (if not better) as any vintage Fender jazz that I have ever played. I will include aftermarket fender vintage style tweed hard case with the bass that will be sold as I am a gig bag guy. I very strongly recommend picking it up and trying it first, I am located in London, Neasden. Since there is a hard case I am willing to wrap it up if you wish to organise your own courier. Thanks
  11. I bought Markbass NY121 cab from Adrian a couple of days ago. We had a great communication, agreed to meet in a convenient location as he was nearby and following the transaction I received a message that I gave Adrian just a little more money than we agreed and he sent it back via PayPal which was really nice of him. And of course cab was in perfect condition and received a speakon cable as a bonus. Thanks again Adrian.

    SOLD

Took it out for a NYE gig last night, and it sounded lovely, cutting through the mix like a warm knife through the butter. I know it's kinda long shot, but I would trade for Microkorg or maybe a similar synth as this is what I would use the money for anyway.
  15. mr.noisy

    SOLD

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. It is still here waiting for a new home.
  16. mr.noisy

    SOLD

Still quite surprised that at a price equivalent to 1/5th of average second hand USA Stingray this still has the least amount of interest of all the basses that I have ever had to sell.
  17. mr.noisy

    SOLD

Dropping the price to £200. I don't think you can get a better fiver for that price. Feel free to come and check it out yourself
  18. mr.noisy

    SOLD

Got the SP-404, would be nice to be a little bit less broke, so here is another price drop. £230 ONO.
  19. mr.noisy

    SOLD

Took it off ebay already as I am not too keen on moving it anymore. However, will keep it here. Feel free to make me an offer. I would also trade for Roland SP-404.
  20. mr.noisy

    SOLD

Took it out of the gig bag during the past two days. Having a tough time, I might actually keep it, too good to let it go.
  21. mr.noisy

    SOLD

Too shy to make an offer? Check it on ebay then. Don't like doing this as I prefer to deal with basschatters, but no offers forced me to go that way. Cheers
  22. mr.noisy

    SOLD

Quite surprised there is no interest in this bass. This really is a quality instrument and forgot to mention it is strung with still fresh D'addario strings. Going to ebay it soon. Check my feedback if in any doubts. Cheers
  23. I wish I had never sold my '72 Musicmaster so I could offer this for trade as I have no cash nor short scale bass, and this Jazz is so nice.
