Loving the new bump button. Just want to add that I am also looking to trade for an upright. I want to get one and my opportunity is kinda hanging in the air and I am not sure when this will happen and I don't want to wait too long.

Hey guys, So this is a bit crazy, as I have always wanted one of these ever since I tried one in the shops, and finally got it very recently, but I also always wanted to try an upright, and opportunity came to me to get one really really cheap, but my budget still is in a very bad state, so something must go, and I am least attached to this bass. This is a Sterling by Music Man Sub 5. I am sure that most of the people know how good are basses under the Sterling name, and this is no exception. I wanted it because I always gassed for a stingray, I played many of them, just never could afford to get one, and if I did, I would always end up with something else. when it comes to playability, this I'd say is such a good copy I can't feel the difference, neck is fantastic, absolutely no sharp edges etc, it's nice and straight and action is set quite low without any buzzes. It has a bags of tone and 2 band EQ. Not sure what else I could say about it, it's just an amazing quality bass and I am kinda pushing myself to get rid of it so fast, but that upright.... Now, things to mention - obviously it has some minor signs of use, but as usual these are very hard to picture. Just some standard tiny marks and tiny dings here and there that you can catch only at a certain light angle. You will see on one of the pics, that it has some kind of marks on the headstock logo. It was like that when I got it from the previous owner, it looks worse on the pic than in the real life though, but just wanted to be totally honest. Also previous owner had the knobs changed to black with pearlescent top, which I kinda like, it's not flashy or blingy, also black strap locks been fitted on it, but it didn't came with the parts that go on the strap. Luckily I had spare around, but these are silver. Bass comes with original Musicman Stingray fitted case, that is quite tatty, but still provides a nice protection. I would take a pics, but it is somewhere in the attic where I put it straight away as I carry all my basses in my Mono gig bag. Now, I would highly recommend and prefer collection, or I could potentially deliver within London or meet somewhere half way. I am based in Neasden, London, just off M1 and A406. However, as it comes with a case and you are brave enough then you are more than welcome to organise your own courier. This is only if you can accept the risk, I have came across some stories recently about courier companies damaging or losing the instruments and claiming that insurance is invalid on these items, so I would not take any responsibility for the instrument once it leaves my door step I'm afraid. Please check my feedback and get in touch if you would like some more info. Please do not offer me any trades as I need the money for an upright.

£130 for both now. Hey guys, So here it is. Two bitsa basses that can be put back to it's original form by swapping back the neck. It's a Squier VM Precision Fretless and Harley Benton Jazz. I got the HB here, few months ago when I was looking for a Jazz body to put Squier neck on instead of buying fretless Jazz. This has worked well. Then I decided to put HB neck on the P body just to check it out. Turned out fine too. I actually gigged the P bass as it is now a couple of times when we had to play some tunes in drop tuning and I used it to swap quickly instead of fiddling with the tuning in between the tunes, sounded nice, and it has flats on it. Jazz sounds great too, but I just can't get motivated enough to put the time and effort into it, so I am sticking with the frets. Please mind that the HB body was DIY reliced by myself (yes, I know, I did it for fun because I knew I wouldn't gig it), it isn't really bad and I tried to keep it realistic, so all I did was just some steel wool action, spanners and screwdrivers treatment as well as couple of sanded places to make it look worn. HB neck headstock also been painted black and I tagged it with a silver marker, but I still have some black left and will cover the tag up if you wish . Squier body and neck have been untouched though, but might have some tiny signs of use. The last thing to mention is that the HB heel for some reason is shorter than Squier so the top 2 screw holes were not alligned and both necks needed some drilling, but it doesn't affect the functionality, both basses are set up nicely with a decent action and necks of course can be swapped back without any problems. I'd love to keep them but they do take some precious space and are not used enough to justify it, and I do have another P and another J that I use mostly, and I could do with some cash towards other musical things I'd like to get. Here is a little reference pic where you can see both basses, I will probably make some more later. This is collection only from North West London, however I can deliver for free within some reasonable distance, or meet half way. Feel free to ask any questions. Price is basically for a Squier, which is less than a half price of what they are going brand new now, and you will get HB for free and it's up to you how you prefer them, I actually prefer fretless on the Jazz for that classic you know who sound.

Hey guys, I hate doing this, but that time came again where my bank account state makes me feel uncomfortable. I got this beauty last year, here on basschat. Better than any 70's Fender I have ever played, nicely aged and according to the previous owner it was refretted at some point and frets look perfect. I have put Thomastik flats on it. It didn't came with any case or gig bag, but I will add a generic gig bag to the sale. I am based in London (North-West, very close to Brent Cross shopping centre) and for the time being I'd prefer collection, but could drop it off for free within reasonable distance in London, or for some extra petrol money if a bit further. Might consider trying to look for a box somewhere if there will be no interest nearby. No trades I'm afraid. You are more than welcome to pop in and try it yourself, also please check my feedback.

Ended up picking up Harley Benton jazz from here and just swapped the necks and to finish off this story, Squier is no longer a Squier and is withdrawn.
