  1. Gigging with an SVT was my weekly gym workout and the tools of a young fit man. Like Sam says, I found that when you get used to moving an 810 about they are quite easy, but you do need a little help from band mates. The workout is a price to pay if you want that sound and a good trade if you ask me.
  2. I vaugely now remember taking mine down to 1/4 to get a much cleaner tone. Eventually swapped it to a LHZ pre though for the HAZ tone.
  3. It more than likely has a tonepump preamp inside, turn the level down to just under half way.
  4. I'm currently using a mix of; Malekko B:assmaster Idiotbox Blower Box D Damnation Audio MBD2 Tech21 XXL bass Big Muff - russian All via a damnation dirtfixer
  5. Blumes ...bluming useless tones. Returned via the next post.
  6. 1. My 1973 SVT +810 - I (maybe) will never sell 2. SVT-2 +810 3. Heritage B15
  7. I've had a total of 4 in my CRFM including a mighty mite copy and all preamps have their own tone. The LHZ is a HAZ copy then its closer to a tonepump than a BTS is. I've never actually played through a real Haz however the LHZ is far the best sounding of the ones ive tested.
  8. Yes and tried to low D on E ...
  9. Just very generic and uninteresting sounds. I'm running a Spector ns2 into it and felt nothing that i cant get from the other collection of distortion pedals i have. Maybe i should have tried a P bass but spent about 30mins thinking " MEH , boring! " Send it back immediately.
  10. Well I got one of these and sent it back for refund the same day. Very generic and boring distortion tones imo..
  11. No issues - Rev H board The SVT-7 PRO pumps out a kilowatt of tone in a convenient 2U rackmount design. The SVT-7 PRO contains many of the same features as the other PRO Series heads, including a flexible 5-position mid tone control, remote switching FX loop and a sleek onboard variable compressor. 12. Overwhelmed with this set up , the tone from the Handbox is unreal and that cab makes it sound like an earthquake ! All set to be making some people deaf this weekend...

  16. Ayop cocker! arrs it guin?
  17. Yes it is, i would like to change it out for a Haz but i believe the board dimensions of the Haz are slightly different to the cavity size ?
  18. So the only difference is that a year later they re named the same bass a Euro and put NB in front of the serial ?
  19. Just picked this one up yesterday, anyone know what year / model, I think it's a euro4 ?
  20. LOL just a few things made me laugh, when talking about the 57-62 era he used the image of a 62 model onwards and at the inclusion of the Labour Party logo on the conspiracies part 🤣. Since when do political parties have anything to do with 'stories related to bass guitars'.
  21. Never had a full working board till today and I've been collecting these things for years, so got a couple new ones and threw them all together.
