  1. My point was that the guy is clearly scalping and people should offer around what he paid for it in the first place. I guess if enough people offer, he might get the idea that it’s overpriced.
  2. There’s an Octabvre III here but note, it looks like it’s the one that sold on a Facebook group on Thursday for £220 with the recipient trying to flip it for £500! https://reverb.com/uk/item/52045457-3leaf-audio-octavbre-mkiii-2020 @Onox, @danweb22, @SumOne, @iamtheelvy, @Owno
  3. Sold, pending receipt of funds.
  4. Not 100% sure about letting this go, but think I can cover the things I use this for with other pedals. In outstanding condition with original box and paperwork. Photos to follow when I’m home. Price includes UK delivery by Special Delivery.
  5. The Sandberg VM2 has a humbucker in the normal P position.
  6. Well, if I get my hands on one, I’ll be able to try seeing if I can duplicate it on C4 and Spectrum. In theory it should be doable, though the tricky part might be replicating exactly how the envelope speed changes as the speed knob is turned.
  7. Anyone else managed to try one of these? I’m still contemplating it.
  8. Thanks. Is there a significant difference between the two series (other than the body shapes)? Which models do you have abs whereabouts in the West Midlands are you?
  9. The best colour (aside from the fretboard😀). The CS62 pickup is great too. Had I not totally fallen for the sculpted heel joint of the Pro II (can't go back now) I'd have been up for this one. Best of luck with the sale.
  10. Are the original knobs also included?
  11. That’s one good step. Good luck! (Wish I could locate my old Musicman Sterling to buy back.)
  12. @Ander87not really the colour you wanted but thought you might give it a look anyway.
  13. Anything in particular causing the delay?
  14. I’ve also seen that he has done a Stingray style build for someone so that’s another possibility!
  15. Probably could. I actually prefer a wider grain though. Also, there’s a lot going on grain-wise in the neck so it might be overkill to have it showing in the body too. Thinking of getting a Jazz built by Jon though and that would be a natural finish.
  16. It is indeed. Getting covered in paint though. Slightly regretting not getting it done clear but had it been intended to be plain then I would’ve chosen a specific slab; I left this particular choice to Jon.
  17. Body shots:
  18. You can pick from whatever he has in the wood store at the time (prices vary depending on the grade of the wood). Basically he’ll pretty much build whatever you want. Check out his website for some of the past builds. There are some amazing fretboard woods. I was hoping he had a slice of this one left when I finalised mine but sadly not:
  19. I am. It looks even better in person, the flaming is like one of those 3D holograms when you move it.
  20. Just had a few pictures of the neck from Jon. He forgot to send body shots, but should send them tomorrow.
  21. The whole album is worth checking out.
  22. I’ve had a few PJs. Sold my last one today but have one on order in a MIDIbass build. I don’t really like the sound of both pickups together, but like the individual pickups played solo. The problem I’ve found (and the reason for selling my last one) is that the types of strings I like to use on each pickup type differ greatly; on the P I prefer heavy flatwounds but these mean that it’s not possible to get a nice snap out of the bridge pickup which requires light flats or some kind of rounds. I’ve come to the conclusion that one of each bass is a better option for me. (The MIDIbass will be an exception as I wanted to have something that could cover as many options as possible.)
