  1. It is tomorrow but announcement will be on EST rather than GMT anyway. Not sure what time. I just spent a good few hours working on three variations of a single preset; there’s a whole world of exploration for end users in those alone. I’ll try and get some clips recorded in the morning so they’re ready to upload once the announcement is made. Need some sleep now as I’ve been testing most of the day.
  2. Indeed. I’ve been having a lot of fun with it today, especially now a bunch of bugs I found have been squashed. Also been tweaking my factory patch to add in some more stuff now that certain functions are working. Unfortunately it’s too late to include the additions as some descriptive literature has already been done, however, I’ll upload it to Neuro as soon as the pedal is active on there. Can’t wait to share a few clips tomorrow.
  3. Unusual to see the Japanese ones with 70s spacing. Most of the ones I’ve seen have 60s spacing, despite being a reissue of a 70s bass.
  4. Are you on the latest pedal firmware?
  5. These are very decent did the money.
  6. There’s a fair bit of change in the desktop too. I’ve not managed a huge amount of testing on Neuro 3 as I’ve been too busy testing the new pedal, which for testing purposes is running on the old Neuro.
  7. Video added to first post.
  8. Cool! Well no, they obviously won’t add that until the release.
  9. Now in public beta: https://www.sourceaudio.net/publicbeta.html
  10. Almost; the strawberries are in a binary sequence (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32); the cherries are also in a binary sequence but obviously have some bits missing…
  11. The clue is in the number of strawberries/cherries and their arrangement. It’s a very good hint.
  12. Must be doubly frustrating given that neck removal is totally unnecessary for truss rod adjustments on these basses.
  13. This is a ridiculously powerful pedal if you’re into distortion, but it does a bunch more stuff on top of that.
  14. Had it been the II model I might have been more tempted (I’m really enjoying the sculpted neck heel on those).
  15. And since this has now been submitted publicly, users will be interested in this: EXPANSION PLANS The next software version will have pitch to MIDI conversion additionally to the current features; it will also implement the author’s patented ultrafast neural net based pitch recognition algorithm. The operational system of the V4 software allows seamless switching between four separate application programs. Currently only two of these slots are used, next applications coming with FM synthesis, sample replay or multi effect section.
  16. Mortrix is up for consideration for the MIDI innovation awards. Vote if you can/want to: https://midi.org/innovation-awards?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content=MIDI+Notes+Monthly+Newsletter-June+2024&utm_campaign=June+25+MIDI+Notes+Newsletter+(AMAB)&vgo_ee=ObiZSoS8mb1Rq4HAfeZBCtKKiEiNlOBvZMq6JFmtpOcNgDmZ%3AwdqO8YzCcPKDJPgJYczdfGdV5GZDkBpf that’s 3 projects I’m involved with on the list!
  17. FI4, MidiBeam and 4Control all up for consideration for the MIDI innovation awards: https://midi.org/innovation-awards?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content=MIDI+Notes+Monthly+Newsletter-June+2024&utm_campaign=June+25+MIDI+Notes+Newsletter+(AMAB)&vgo_ee=ObiZSoS8mb1Rq4HAfeZBCtKKiEiNlOBvZMq6JFmtpOcNgDmZ%3AwdqO8YzCcPKDJPgJYczdfGdV5GZDkBpf that’s 3 projects I’m involved with on the list (Mortrix too). Please vote.
  18. Fair point. Still, it was more of a heads-up. I can’t divulge anything juicy, lest I be barred from being involved in future projects.
