the minifoogers had a decal change from all black to a white and black design for me thats a v2
yeh not bashing the Synths they are amazing, the DFAM etc sound amazing
I hadn’t noticed the mini pedals’ decal types (only a couple a white large-format pedals).I certainly didn’t read any bashing into your post. I’ve not played the module stuff, just the Minitaur, Sirin, Subsequent and Model D. I really wished they had made more of the D. When a couple came up, I needed cash for a house move. Now I could get one they are pretty difficult to find and people are charging silly money for them.

yeh but remember they did do sort of a v2 with updated decals, but i do think you could be right as i do remember somewhere seeing that they didnt really see much future in them doing pedals and were going back into synths
You mean the ‘Foogers? They did a version with Bob Moog’s signature for a bit, might have been when they did the Sub37 tribute too.
And what synths! The Moog One is incredible.

I had the Cali, then I upgraded to the TC Spectracomp and pocketed the difference! Multi-band compression is where it’s at if you have any kind of high mids / treble in your tone IMHO.
Hyper Gravity is the same comp with more knobs, but the Spectracomp is dialled in for bass and comes with a bunch of bass presets... although it is possible to map these to the Hyper Gravity using the settings that someone dumped into a spreadsheet!
Where is this spreadsheet? I'd certainly love to copy the settings from my favourite Spectracomp preset.

Bought this to go with the MC6 but between my ordering it and its arriving Morningstar had released the MC8 and I’d bought that and found I no longer needed the extra switches.
Via the controller, this can be used as three extra presets per bank or as a “fixed switch” to toggle page and bank up/down.
This is brand new, only having been plugged in to test it and then put away. Seems daft to have it sitting unused.
Get it without the wait times to get one built.
Actual postage costs to be added which will be under a fiver for the UK.

Bit the bullet and ordered a new one. No idea when I might get it though.

Still using the borrowed TC compressor
But have a nice big Amazon voucher heading my way from work and most of it is spent already (behringer X-touch control surface) but still some left for a compressor
MXR, dark glass, boss, pigtronix and Aguilar compressor pedals all available on Amazon, plus a while load of budget boxes
or do I use Amazon pay at GAK for an Origin Effects Cali76 Compact Bass FET Compressor Pedal?
There’s an excellent compressor in the upcoming Source Audio Ultrawave. It’s a mind-blowing distortion pedal but the compressor can be used alone if desired or as part of a distortion preset. Also, it’s dual channel with a loop so you can have two settings at different points in your chain. I just sold my Spectracomp due to this pedal.

Would love these, zero real estate though!
That’s because you keep buying massive pedals!

I'm gonna ask the "elephant in the room" question.... How goods areas these?
I'm a huge TCE fan, but unsure on these single knob units....
The single knob is perhaps masking the pedal’s true power. You can set it up pretty much however you like and have the knob control multiple parameters in whatever ranges you want. I think it sounds great just using some of the stock TonePrints. (I use the Nik West one.)
I’d keep it if not for the fact that the latest Source Audio pedal has a compressor; this means I can change presets via MIDI.

This should be excellent, looking forward to it. You're just missing a Valeton OC-10!
And an MXR BOD, Octamizer, Octabvre III, Octabass and T-16 (which is different from the T47 due to the lack of bleed from the octave up).

@knicknack how did these work out for you?
By the way, I got pretty close to the Rhodes bass sound on my summit the other day. Forgot to save at that point though as I was aiming for something else. Definitely doable though but that has three oscillators per voice (or six if I use the bi-timbrality).

... I bought one at the start of the year with the ‘issue’. Sent it back as it was really noticeable, it produced a weird artifact after the note ended and didn’t sound owt like the YT demos. If it was an ok unit I would have kept it gladly.
GLWTS as it’s a classic sound in a small package 👍🏼
I sent mine back via the shop I bought from and received a replacement at no cost. It’s been brilliant since I got it back.

I've had 2 of these in tge past. Wonderfully sounding filter. Very BEF like. But you get 2 sides that can be set at different responce/resonance to create vowel type sounds.
I think I saw a wanted add up for one of these recently

Does this have the resistor mod installed? It is standard now but early units didn’t have it. Even though you bought recently, if it was older stock it could still be one of the ones without it. Basically, is it silent when you’re not plucking a note? If there is a chattering noise then it needs the mod doing. MXR will do this for free.

I’m sure you all know what these are. Fantastic one-knob compressor. Now surplus to requirements due to the recent acquisition of a MIDI-controllable compressor.
In excellent condition. Has Velcro on the base.
Comes boxed with the original unused rubber feet.
Price includes signed-for UK delivery.
I can usually post the same day, especially if payment is received by 8.30am.
