Will [/quote] Hi Will these sound clips are when i first got it, they are recorded with no eq as the bass knob was not working at the time and that made the treble be to harsh so i had that off to. I run it as bass to d.i. then patch it into the gt00 then i run it so the d.i. sound is seperate from the gt200, it has an out on the back so you can run it into a slave or preamp fx loop of a amp. I dont need to run another preamp into the gt200 as it's perfect. so yeah those clips were just the bass d.i. with no eq I just had it modded at the factory to get the new gt200mk2 preamp so its now got an extra valve and a new gain section and a mid knob. if you go up to the factory and try it out if you like and ask them about a price. mine cost a wee bit as i have had it modded

I know it's nice to have a amp but if you want a amp that's easy to take to gigs for small supports the meat d.i. is perfect for me as i will show you guys soon. the sound from this going through a pa is mental i know that if i cannot be bothered to take my gt200 i can still sound huge with my d.i. some monitors and the pa. Anyone near glasgow can try mine out at my venue.

I am in American at the moment and before that i was on tour for three weeks in europe but i will sort it out 100% when i get back as it is finished. bass chat will not let me post pics. if anyone wants to see it finished then give me your email. It is one of the best things i have ever bought and the tube grind is insane.

looks great, i will be sending my d.i. back on thursday when its finished you should go to the factory and try it out as you will need it to go with the final setup mate. Again looks great

Today/friday i recorded only with it and it sounded perfect and i did different takes for the gain stage and to give to Jeff so they can let peeps hear the meat but i need to send it back to get a pad switch on it as the output is mental and the bass knob is not working but apart from that it sounds like a valve amp.
