Cheers, Gary
Been doing some research on prices on the Cab. Thomann £277 GAK £279 DJM Music £331 Gear 4 £292 In view of the fact that the Cab is 'as new' I'd be willing to accept £175. Gary
6.
Would you consider selling the cab seperately
Hi Aber, I'm guessing your in Wales? Yes, I might consider it. Cheers, Gary
7. I have for sale (both hardly used - not gigged, just a few hours home use) a Warwick Pro Fet 3.2 Head and a matching WCA211 Pro Cab. This Midi size rig is excellent for small to medium sized venues and is not too heavy to lug around. Amp has many features including Compression (good for slappers) and Cab has built in attenuator horn. Cannot emphasise enought that this rig has not seen any action and is therefore in mint, shop condition. Am looking for £320 or vno please. I will deliver within a reasonable distance of Cardiff or you can collect or arrange courier. Thanks for looking.
8. Monday morning bump for price drop. Now £475 and a steal at this price for a mint example.
9. Apols for the quality, these were taken with my phone.
10. Bumperama...will post if required. This is the best recent example you will find save for buying new.
11. I was very happy with my lot before I joined BC. Funny how this forum fuels uncontrollable urges to changes ones intrument. Anyhow, that's what has happened and I now find myself really wanting something older and 'fenderyer' than my Warwick! I bought the Bass from Simon at Cardiff Guitars about 6 months ago who had set it up beautifully. It is in perfect un-gigged condition with no marks or imperfections. It comes with a Warwick thick padded gigbag and all the case candy. Truss rod tool, strap locks, wax, manual and original swing tags. After consultation with several BC members as to price, I think £550 ono is about right. Will post some pics ASAP. Thanks for looking.
12. Very nice indeed. Pity your not trading as I have a mint Corvette $$ 4 string that I am looking to out. Looks like a very good price too. This should not hang about long.
13. 40 something mainly rock inspired bassist looking to get jamming. Picked up the Bass again recently after a long lay off whilst I've been playing 'cello for various Orchestras. Had a few lessons and now ready to play covers for fun or gigs. Can travel around a bit so Cardiff/Valleys/Swansea would be ideal. Cheers, Gary
14. Hi Phat Master, I have a Corvette $$ natural oil. It's a 2007 model, all original, never gigged, no imperfections whatsoever. Huge fat sound from the two enormous double buckers. Have been thinking about selling for a while but not got around to posting yet. I will be advertising it (when I get my finger out) for circa £500 if you are interested. LemonCello
15. Did you manage to get your pick guard? I have a Squier VMJ and would like to change the pick guard also. Cheers
16. My worst bass ever was a 1970's Kay Rickenbacker copy. Am I being thick when I say I think it came from a Kay's catalogue??? Twas a long time ago, but it didn't put me off as I traded the 'Rickenplank' for some kind of Hondo, a shiny brown thing reminiscent of an Ercol sideboard! In fact, the action was so high you could fly a sideboard under the strings! Long break away from the Bass until I bought a black Aria SB600 in New Zealand of all places. Liked this a lot but sold it (idiot) to fund the purchase of a hard case for my 'cello. Am enjoying my two very different basses, Corvette $$ and VMJ and I have to admit I really have started to love the VMJ. Great neck, fat passive sound and faultless build quality. Have my eye on a '75 Jazz refin. Just a matter of time!!
17. Can someone give me a steer on a sensible ballpark figure to ask for my Corvette $$? It's a 2007 model, 4 string, natural, bolt on neck. Never gigged and in mint condition with Warwick Gig Bag and all the swing tags, wax, truss rod tool etc etc. Can't find a comparable 4 stringer here. Thanks guys
