[b]Warmoth 'Deluxe 5' neck for Fender basses[/b] (Licenced by Fender) I had this neck on my Fender Jazz Deluxe 5-string for a while until I sold it, it which point I removed it and fitted the original neck back again. It's been hanging around for a while with no purpose so I thought I'd move it on. Spec:[list] [*]Maple neck with Pau Ferro fingerboard. This has a lighter colour than rosewood. [*]Nut width 44.5mm (1 3/4") - I found this more comfortable than the wider original nut on the Jazz. [*]22 frets (6105 size). [*]Corian or bone nut (invoice says bone). [*]Finish is vintage tint gloss. [*]No front or side dot markers [*]Neck width at body (neck pocket) end: 73.9mm [*]4+1 tuner configuration. Holes are 17mm. Reverse of headstock is drilled to take the two pegs from the plastic bodied lightweight machines that are fitted to the Fender Deluxe basses (see image below). [*] [*]There are holes in the front of the headstock for Fender bar-style string trees. [*]If I remember correctly, the neck was supplied with undersized tuner holes and I had to enlarge them to fit the tuners from my Jazz. There was a slight cock-up with the 'D' string, where the first few mm of the hole are slightly oversized. This doesn't notice when the tuners are fitted as it is covered by the upper flange. You can see this on the photos. [/list] The cost of the neck was $336. I think with all the VAT and other import fees, the total delivered cost was about £270. They are great quality necks, very stable, and just as good as the Fender original in my opinion. I have a identically spec'd Maple/Maple one on my Warmoth P/J, which is my main bass (I actually prefer it to my Lakland!).

[b]Hipshot 'A' style 5-string bridge[/b] I bought this some time ago directly from Hipshot for a project. In the end I never used it, so it is basically new and unused. It is the 0.687" string spacing version (approx 17.5mm). The spacing is adjustable to some degree. The rollers that the strings pass over can be slid from side to side and then locked into the desired position. Can be strung thru-body or conventionally. This is finished in Chrome. I'm pretty sure that it is the brass version (rather than the aluminium), judging by the weight and the price on the original invoice. There are some very minor scuff marks between the B & E strings - if you look closely you can see it in the photo. There's a possibility they might polish out if it bothers anyone. These are a great quality bridge, beautifully machined. Fitting screws and allen key included. Can post for a cost of £5.

Now a discontinued model, some people think these are the best cabinets EA made. Owned by myself from new. This is the later lightweight (L) model, which is a few pounds lighter than the original model. It also has the embossed 'EA' logos each side, which EA discontinued on later models (probably to reduce costs). It is in very good condition. Cosmetically there are minor marks here and there but no chips to the finish or dents in the grill. The finish is a tough black coating (I think it is called 'Nubtex'). The lighting in the photos is making it appear lighter than it actually is. There is a standard speaker 'top hat' mount on the underside so that it can be used on a speaker pole if desired. There is also a flip-out 'tilt-back' handle that raises the front of the cabinet off the floor by a couple of inches. Very loud for its size! Handles a low B no problem. They are also a very 'sensitive' speaker i.e. you get more dB per Watt than is usual for this type of cab. I bought it in August 08, but it has led a fairly sedate life (Big Band jazz mainly). It has always been kept in a Markbass gig bag. It also has the (expensive) transformer DI upgrade installed.
