  1. As has been stated above, the real issue is the VAT. From EU gov "On 31 December 2020, the transition period for the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the EU ended. This means that the UK is now formally a third country and EU law no longer applies there. For the purposes of customs, the UK is treated as any other non-EU country as of 1 January 2021. In particular, customs procedures and formalities now apply to trade between the UK and the EU. However, in accordance with the agreed Protocol on Ireland and Northern Ireland, EU customs rules and procedures generally continue to apply to goods entering and leaving Northern Ireland."
  2. A couple years back I tried to order one, the Tokyo office replied that they are out of catalogue only the jazz body PJs are available. Most of the aforementioned points are quite pertinent, however can be found in the previous Japanese version, they aren't exclusive to the new Sadwicks.

  7. I have thought the same thing however the PUs have Sadowsky branded covers. Logo legal issues only apply to the headstock?
  8. Hi all, The new Metro Express range at Thomann £729 (4-strings) and £777 (5-strings). No delivery date provided. Sadowsky MetroExpress I'm in the market for a Precision 5 and I might pull the trigger for a Hybrid PJ5. Anyone knows if this range is fitted with regular US pickups? Thanks in advance

  10. Hello everyone, I've been here for a while as a reader now it seemed time to introduce myself. I'm 43, live in Lisbon, Portugal and been playing bass for several years.
