3.
Or, of course, do a Dood and go lower still.
Definitely the answer
4.
Whim is a substitute for investigation? Suit yourself...
When asking for guides that are good, without knowing what is and isn't yes?
5.
How to set up a bass. http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&sour...G=Google+Search
I'm going to go out on a whim here, half of those results will be crap... As someone who loves Google, I'd prefer not to trust every result that comes up from that search with items of great value...
6. Burrito is the book you mentioned generally transferable to other basses (with a bit of common sense and know how) or should a more general book be acquired for non fender set ups (sounds like I believe fenders are different to other basses, but thought I'd ask)
7.
The photos are the least of my problems with that ad- the typography, on the other hand, is almost unreadable.
A man with his priorities right
8. Been working my way through a bass book, got some scales sorted etc. but trying not to teach myself too much as I'll be getting lessons soon and bad habits are harder to lose than learn
9. Thanks for the reply, I seem to have found someone that I'll be contacting to make sure they are available when I arrive in Bristol
10. If you could stop posting these basses up so I could stop being tempted to spend alot more money than I have it would be great Really nice looking Precision, love the photo of the pickups...
11. Wondering if the book has been posted Garry? No reply to the PM so not sure if you've missed them and will see this Thanks Mark
12. second vote for studybass.com , got to spend time and look at some of the info on here too, I'm spending time learning from http://www.amazon.co.uk/Learn-Play-Bass-Co...l/dp/1864692634 and it seems to be doing alot of good (in my opinion) now learning theory, how and why I'm playing what I am, and (something you don't need) but the method to play...
13. Exactly, bring back the time of gentlemen and the such
14. I would love for hats to be in fashion for people my age without them trying too hard (which the case seems to be) Bad times
15. I'd go for a tascam mp3 thingy-ma-bob (technical term) And the spare money on strings or drinks depending on which I feel like most at the time
