1. Squier finally updated their website .... WOW, all 3 basses look cool: http://squierguitars.com/news/index.php?display_article=146 Jaguar already ordered some weeks ago .... still waiting .... G.A.S. ..... cold turkey, now i want them all.
 2.
This is a terrible thread for me! I don't have space for all these toys!
it´s not about space here, it´s about the money (by the way ... "money" ... great bass-line)
 3. after being stucked at customs for almost 10 days, i picked up my Groove Regulator this morning. Sound = WOOOOW, but more testing NOW .... tbc
 4. bumping for lmbalcao ... he is a great guy to deal with!
 5.
I bought from 3Leaf, it was the cheapest option at the time ... with shipping and customs taxes mine costed 225€... Didn't regret it at the moment but now the new MXR looks like a cheaper and very reliable option...
ok, thanks for the info! Since there is a summer sale for the 3Leaf Groove Regulator right now (till july 13th) i just ordered one this morning .... for 179 U$ + 30 U$ shipping + x € taxes/customs. Spencer, the guy from 3Leaf, is a great guy to deal with, he is also an active poster on talkbass.com ... i have much sympathy for those small one man(?) boutique pedal producers. BUT the MXR M82 will be my second choice sometime from all the reviews i have read, heared and seen. I believe only one envelope filter on the board is never enough, each sounds very different, i love to have choices.

 8. i´m not related to 3Leaf Audio, but i want to let you know that the Groove Regulator is on "summer sale" at the moment, until july 13th it´s 179 U$ (instead of 199 U$) .... i´m going to order NOW.
 9. i was also looking for a tube compressor and just ordered the MarkBass Compressore, hopefully delivered by tomorrow. It´s a HUGE pedal but got great reviews, read this and check on talkbass.com for more info.
 10.
i've seen some go for up to 800 on ebay, the prices have been getting nuts lately
i also watch those crazy(?) prices, BUT did they really sell for that price? most of the time those auctions with high starting prices or "buy it now" end with 0 bids.
I agree, Basschat is probably not the best place to sell it. I'm pretty sure you'll get your £500 on ebay!
yes, i agree ... go for ebay and sell it international, maybe Justin of TOOL will buy it as a backup pedal. my guess: 420 GPB maximum. i also have a brand new in a box whammy .... this thread makes me digging for gold ..... but i will keep it till prices go up to 1.000 U$.
 11.
Definitely real. AND - Check the other link http://www.worldmusicsupply.com/Squier-Vin...aguar-Bass.html
wow, 299 U$ (list 499 U$) .... good price and i hope it´s also a GOOD bass for that money. But i expect (as always) higher prices here in europe.
 12.
If I did look to get one of these squiers I'd add a series switch, change the pups to something more vintage voiced, badass the bridge, also change the guard to black and add some more chrome (covers, plates. Whatever really)
wow man, thats a lot of modification ... think about custom build jaguar I also would think about BadAssII bridge, in black. I will buy the Squier VM Jaguar for sure.
 13. some dude at shortscale.org posted a price 450 GBP he said, later he mentioned 400 GPB .... i talked to a Fender guy in Germany last week, he told me 300 - 350 GPB (converted from Euro) ... i think that price already included tax. ( a ) so, that VM Jag is an active bass? can you tell from the given specs if those pickups are ok? ( b ) what about the bridge? a black BasAssII bridge would look (and also sound???) killer on that bass. ( c ) other modding ideas (hahahaha, ok - little early .... lets wait and hear the bass first)
 14.
... but if this turns out to be real ....
real!
 15.
if this is around after the weekend I'll definitely have it
you are in love with lady AKAI, don´t you?
 16. GREAT, i will totally but the Jag
 17. i hope it´s the real deal, but right now i really don´t trust that "source" of harmony-central.com I would buy the VM Jag for sure, even my GAS attack-syndrom is healed.
 18.
I have the 3Leaf and i love it.
Did you buy it straight at 3Leaf USA or what is the best place in Europe to buy the Groove Regulator to save shipping/tax/custom fees?
 19. hahahahaha, i like: "How to make a stomp box PolyTune™ from the PolyTune™ iPhone App" (Video)!
 20. "Sonic Research" also produce great tuners, maybe a bit underrated or not so common here in europe: http://www.turbo-tuner.com/

 24. if it´s true that their production will move to Korea then their image is completely f***ed up. but if you read this article (german) then it all makes sense ... bottom line: "slavery at Warwick" ... some of their german workers get less than 5€ paid an hour.
