1. Cheers Lawrie! Chris is the real deal and every time I pick this bass up I question whether I, just like the previous owners, am mad to be selling it! Ross
2. Hey guys, This axe is certainly no stranger to the forum and it really saddens me to be listing her again but alas, I'm a total Precision bass guy and just can't settle on jazz bass necks! Like so many other owners, I'm probably going to regret moving this one on again as it literally sounds phenomenal. HUGE low end (in fact, it eventually gets unusable, the aguilar pre pumps that much out!), massive tonal bandwidth in recording, very clear and articulate (thanks to the wonderful marriage with the Nordstrands). The build quality on this bass is outstanding, one of the tightest neck pocket I've come across, with a lovely low action and effortless neck (if it had a P bass thickness and a P pickup, I'd never sell it!). The electronics cavity is amazingly neat and tidy as well, a truly wonderful example of how a bass should be constructed! I've popped on a Hipshot Drop D Xtender key in place of the original E machine head (original included) and the bass has recently been setup by Chris McIntyre at McIntyre guitars in Edinburgh as well. Couple of small, 'been gigged' dings on the finish that I've tried to photograph as best as I could in the morbid Glasgow Winter light, but nothing major! Specs are on the website, but no harm in a wee copy and paste: Alder Body Candy Apple Red w/Matching headstock Maple neck w/Pau Ferro fretboard 1 1/2" @ nut 34" Scale 12" Radius Graphite Reinforced neck Nordstrand NJ4 pickups Aguilar OBP-1 Preamp (can be bypassed to passive mode with push/pull on bass boost knob) Chrome Hardware Mint Green pickguard Hipshot Vintage Style Bridge 19mm String Spacing Hipshot UltraLite Tuners (including recently added hipshot drop D Xtender, original machine head inc.) Strap Locks Semi hard case inc. Trades wise? I'm looking for a well built, great sounding 4 string P bass (or PJ), e.g. Sandberg [California VM4 / VS] / Moollon / Clover / G&L etc. Would be willing to part a little extra cash towards something nice, but ideally wanting to swap for something of a similar value. Will courier at the buyers expense. I'm listing the bass at a price/trade value of £1000+ (trade) / £900 (sale) as to list a bass of this quality for less would be criminal IMO and I'm not in a mad rush to sell it at the moment as it sounds so fantastic in a studio situation (regardless of whether or not it's my ideal model!) 3. Sold my tc rh450 head to mark last week. Very swift and pleasant transaction and a great buyer in general deal with confidence! Thanks again man. Ross
4. **SOLD PENDING THE USUAL** Selling my TC Electronic RH450 Bass Amp + Power/speakon cables + TC Helicon gig bag + original box and manual for £375 with insured UK postage. Some scratches on the metal casing (merely the painted coating from leads etc., happens to all of these heads if they are gigged outside of the house/display cabinet!), but in perfect working order with no cracked buttons/knobs etc. In two minds about keeping this as a backup to my RH750 to be honest, as I'm set on the TC RH Series as my go-to live rig at the moment, but it's up for sale for the time being! Impossible to drive too hard (wonderfully designed, including the protection system), always taken care of and tonally exceptional. Feel free to PM me for extra pics. Sale only, no trades thanks. Cheers, Ross
5. Bought Richard's Valenti Vintage J4 (the famous #42 the other week there and have been loving the insane low end ever since! Very easy deal, great communications and fantastic packaging. Would not hesitate to buy from him again, throughly recommended seller

7. This is a fantastic box, I use mine exclusively with my TC rig, in the effects loop of whatever amp I'm greeted with (as I'm doing right now in the states) or on its own. Tonnes of tonal options that really add that final 'spark' to your tone and the presets are great for boost/overdrive moments. Buy with confidence, Chris is a true gent!!

9. It sold for £680... That's an absolute steal there! Gutted I missed this one!
10. This is a ridiculous price for such a great cab. If I didn't already have an RS212 and a DRBass1260 I'd be all over this! Whoever snaps it up will not be disappointed, these boutique cabs are brilliant. Such a shame DRBass aren't a popular brand over here at the moment.
11. This is an amazing head, tried one in the states last year with a DRBass cab and it blew my mind! Wide spectrum, tube tone nirvana. If I had the dosh spare I'd take it right off of you! Have a bump on me
12. Sold Emmett my Gallien Krueger combo today. Absolute pleasure to deal with, totally stress free sale Trade with confidence! Cheers again man!
13. Really looking to sell at the moment if I'm to be completely honest, but I'm happy to consider trade offers on the off chance something interesting pops up Feel free to drop us a PM!
14. Early bump (at the administrator's request due to a listing bug!)!
15. SOLD (pending payment) thanks Selling my Avalon U5 DI box in great condition, complete with box and manual, for £330. There are couple of small surface scratches here and there caused by the unit's plug being stored along side it in a foam padded case. Negligible really, and you'd really have to scrutinise the chassis under a bright light to really notice! Anyways, more importantly, if you haven't tried your instrument through one of these before it hits your amp or mixing desk, you'll be amazed - Pure, class A bandwidth expansion, the truest possible sound from your instrument! 'Life changing' on bass! I'm swaying a bit on this one as it really does add extra 'magnificence' to your tone before the bass hits the amp, but I've just bought a new cab of late and could do with the funds (and on that note, I'm not interested in trades thanks ). Used at a handful of gigs only and always transported in a foam lined carry case. Available in the east end of Glasgow. Can deliver locally or outside of the city centre with petrol cover. Will also post insured at buyers expense. Cheers.
16. SOLD!! Selling my 'gigged', but never abused (just carpet/cover tears and general scruffing etc.!) Gallien Krueger 700RBII combo with upgraded 10 inch drivers (Celestion BN10-200S - far superior than the originals and easily 3 times lighter!) for £300. Combo retails at around £720 (head alone is £496) before £140 in driver upgrades. Although I'm satisfied with my TC rig for presets and portability, I'm pretty gutted about moving this on as tonally this combo has a wonderfully 'true' spectrum from clean and crisp to solid granite growl (i.e. no where near as 'baked in' as my RH450 + RS212). So in other words, Hifi - lo-fi sounds are achievable with the musical EQ, G.I.V.E. tonal sections and very open and super-clear Celestion drivers. 320 watts at 8 ohms, 480 watts at 4 ohms. Never had to attach a cab for 99% of gig situations, this box is loud! The tilt back option is also fantastic for monitoring and reducing nasty sub frequencies on particularly bad/hollow stages! Any other technical information can be found at: http://www.gallien-k...II_700RB-II.pdf I'm based in the east end of Glasgow, but can deliver locally or outside of the city centre with petrol cover. Postage for this will probably be quite expensive due to the weight and dimensions, so I'd rather not ship, however I can look into it if need be. Cheers.
