The 'Dekker' will be getting a debut gig airing at the Half Moon on Saturday 24th. I hope my public can cope with a change from the diamond crown pork pie. I'm sure a photo or two will be taken.

Why, how and when did bass become synonymous with hats? Are we more follically bereft than other musos or trying to look windswept and interesting? (Hey girls, I might play bass but I'm not dull as dishwater. Honest.)

I have plenty of hair (even more since my decision to go all James May on the world after 20 years of very short flat tops...) but I like a hat on stage to keep the stage lights out of my eyes/off my glasses lenses so I can see what's going on...
