Factor in $100 shipping and about £70 UK tax and you can get a new L2000 Tribute into the country for £350. dub_junkie Posted November 23, 2007 Share Posted November 23, 2007 both pickups in parallel,in 1st active position(no treble boost) is one of my all time favourite bass tones. great sound with treble boost on as well but can get a bit too sizzly if you dont roll off some treble. I also love the neck pickup in series and passive mode as well - dead woody sounding.... almost a one bass bass does all with the tri-tone electronics and MFD humbuckers - and with each polepiece on each coil adjustable theres no quieter strings unless strangely you ever wanted them that way. great demo - I think he covered each of the tones in logical order and with the right amount of comparisons. grosa Posted November 23, 2007 Share Posted November 23, 2007 I had a us one not that long ago,nice green stain super glossy with a cool binding,sounded ace,didn't get on with the neck too much and felt like i was holding an amp,but the sound was so good.loveley things i think.
