Jigster Posted May 1, 2010 Share Posted May 1, 2010 Currently have a LMKii which packs a punch and sounds sweet and pretty warm when compared tonally to my Bassman 135 - not the same obviously but has an affinity - what other amps in this style ie. small compact wattage monsters do people feel come close to older school sounds - SWR? Kiwi Posted May 1, 2010 Share Posted May 1, 2010 Probably Ashdown would be worth a first look. SWR is very scooped, EA and EBS are very hifi sounding.
