I want to make a thumb rest for my '51 P ri & would love to know the dimensions of what's normal on a J or P bass, so if you've got one on your's - please can you run a measure over it & let me know?

Because :- the '51 came with a single screw fixing & all I can find is 2 hole jobs!

TIA,
John
