My Beloved Tobias Classic 5

I want to sell my USA Tobias Classic 5. I'm reluctant to do so, but I want to buy some new cabs.

It's about 15 years old, well gigged. A deep ding in the top of the neck, a small crater where I've rested my thumb, and well-tarnished bridge due to years of toil and sweat.

Beautiful unlacquered lacewood top (looks like lizard skin), alder back, sandwiching a wenge plate. Pau ferro fingerboard, flamed maple neck.

£1000...no offers.

I can get photos if anyone's really interested.

I've seen this Tobias & it's real beauty!

Pete is a great Guy to deal with too.

At least one too many strings for an old duffer like me unfortunately - but have a bump anyway Pierre!

Here we go. I've shown the dings and dongs and blemishes. It's a beaut!

Looks like it does miss the original rear cover plate[/quote]

Serial number 2116.

Everything original. The back cover plate is the same wood as the neck stringer.

Should also mention I had the neck shaved down a bit to accommodate my small hands better. Feels awesome to play.
