First of all, to be honest, I thought I'll never enter this forum section, literally...

But, after playing my tutor's fretless, and spotting my friend's advert selling his stuff for cents, I thought, I'd give it a go..

Just to be clear, my new EUB isn't Stagg or whatever - it was made by one local bass luthier, here, in Lithuania.
Now, what I mean by making, he took a neck from old Chezch double bass (Strunal, possibly..), and modified it a bit.

My new bass specs are (those, that I know..): maple body, installed piezo, active electronics (2band EQ).

It sounds pretty cool, I couldn't tell much difference from a, emmm, proper upright bass..

The thing is, I don't know if my bass need any tech tweaking, but, I hope, my tutor will help here..

In the end, it's Fun

But, ok ok, I know, if there's no pics - there's no bass :)

I'll take a camera to my studio, promise..

Well.. It sounds, more or less, like double bass :) Dah, I must admit, I can't comment on the sound that much, as I'm not keen (yet?) on upright bass' sounds and stuff..

Actually, you can dial a bunch of tones, cuz my EUB has active 2band eq, as I've mentioned before.

I'm not sure about it's scale, I'll try to dig it out - once again, my knowledge about it is very poor, apologies..
