sharpester Posted September 7, 2009 Share Posted September 7, 2009 Hi to all, I have been a member for a few weeks just generally taking in some of the threads. I took the plunge on my first topic this morning in the classified sections to which I got an almost instant response. So I feel I should introduce myself and start making use of some of you fine people's advice and knowledge! My bass playing is pretty basic but I am looking to improve to allow me to play with other people in the 'real world'. Gear wise I have a Schecter Stiletto Custom with an Ashdown Electric Blue combo. I am pretty happy with sound I am getting although any tips on setting up the amp would be gratefully received as the Ashdown does have quite a few switches which I am struggling to cope with!!!! The things I am working on currently are some Kings of Leon and Neil Young tracks along with a little Steely Dan for jamming along with a guitar playing friend.
