Hi All,

I have just moved from London down to Thanet in kent (Margate & Canterbury area). I play mainly Fender basses and I have a Tony Franklin fretless signature, a Fender 75 vintage re issue, a Mex jazz fretless and I just bought a 77 precision fretless neck from a guy in Canterbury. I would greatly appreciate some tips on bass amps as I use a Hartke 15 Kickback but I am not 100% happy with that. I am also really struggling to get to grips with fingerstyle - string dampening and could do with a good teacher! any out there in my area???

cheers all

Andrew

Hi Andrew and welcome :)

Should you require info on changing your amps, there are loads of such threads lurking in the amps section. In fact, they seem to make up about 25% of all posts. Have a bit of a trawl through the last few months and you'll see lots of q's and a's.

Once you've made your mind up, you'll find lots of tasty bargains in the Basschat Market Place. Cheaper than the bay and you get to meet some good people.

Enjoy the forum!

I doubt there'll be too much deliberation required as to who that might have been :)

Welcome. Good to meet you earlier Andrew, bit of a fretless Fender guy myself, although currently building a Ric 4003 fretless from parts also.

There's some very knowledgable guys on here so you'll no doubt pick up the info you need.

Chris
