JazzyJ Posted Wednesday at 18:55 Posted Wednesday at 18:55 Well, always wanted to have a go on. Road trip to Doncaster yesterday and returned with this example. A very decent price and it sounds immense. Not everybody's cup of tea but hey ho. 17 Quote
HeadlessBassist Posted Wednesday at 19:36 Posted Wednesday at 19:36 Congratulations JazzyJ! Looks lovely, particularly the 'Pewter' like finish. Being a HH, it should be mighty too. Enjoy! 1 Quote
Misdee Posted Wednesday at 21:04 Posted Wednesday at 21:04 Not everybody's cup of tea, but definitely my cup of tea. I love a Bongo. That finish looks like Egyptian Smoke, if I'm not mistaken. The colour scheme on these earlier Bongos was inspired by the available colours for BMW cars at that time in the early-mid 2000's. Makes sense in light of the BMW connection. Anyhow, lovely bass, I hope you have a lot of fun playing it. 1 Quote

I'll be keeping them on for the time being. Quote
HeadlessBassist Posted Wednesday at 22:19 Posted Wednesday at 22:19 That's an interesting choice of string for a Bongo. Quote
Misdee Posted Wednesday at 22:29 Posted Wednesday at 22:29 Funnily enough, I've thought about putting flats on my Bongo, if I ever get round to it. I think it could work pretty well! Quote

Musicman20 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Love the Bongo. The flats apparently sound really good with that pre-amp (never personally tried it) but the clarity with rounds and grind is addictive on these! Quote
