JazzyJ Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Well, always wanted to have a go on. Road trip to Doncaster yesterday and returned with this example. A very decent price and it sounds immense. Not everybody's cup of tea but hey ho. 9 Quote
HeadlessBassist Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Congratulations JazzyJ! Looks lovely, particularly the 'Pewter' like finish. Being a HH, it should be mighty too. Enjoy! 1 Quote
Misdee Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Not everybody's cup of tea, but definitely my cup of tea. I love a Bongo. That finish looks like Egyptian Smoke, if I'm not mistaken. The colour scheme on these earlier Bongos was inspired by the available colours for BMW cars at that time in the early-mid 2000's. Makes sense in light of the BMW connection. Anyhow, lovely bass, I hope you have a lot of fun playing it. 1 Quote

I'll be keeping them on for the time being. Quote
HeadlessBassist Posted 4 minutes ago Posted 4 minutes ago That's an interesting choice of string for a Bongo. Quote
