Dood Posted Wednesday at 12:18 Posted Wednesday at 12:18 I've done a thing! - Product page link: https://www.emgpickups.com/bass/whats-new-bass.html I would be most grateful if you'd kindly watch my lil 1 minute video, like, share, add a nice positive comment and sub to my little channel - that gets lost in all of the "pick me influencer" videos that make up 14 pages of rants on Basschat 🤣😂🤣. @DanVeallBassist Presents: EMG Pickups' new E-Series Pickups feature the commonly used slim soapbar cap design. Unlike any other EMG design, the E-Series feature wide aperture coils with ceramic magnets, utilising an oversized stacked single coil design. The coils go all the way out to the edge of the cap. The E series delivers powerful low end while retaining the articulation modern bass player requires. The E Series pickups unlock a multitude of bass models for simple, drop-in EMG upgrades. Designed with versatility in mind, the E-Series can excel in a wide range of genres and playing styles. Just like all EMG active pickups, the E Series are free from hum and buzz, and include solderless wiring kits for simple, DIY installation. For further tonal shaping, the E Series pickups are compatible with EMG’s wide range of bass EQ’s and accessories, so the tonal possibilities are virtually endless. MichaelDean Posted Wednesday at 13:32 Posted Wednesday at 13:32 I have done just that! From an old review of yours of the GB Modern, the EMGs sound a bit smoother to my ears compared to the Nordstrands. Might be the signal processing but they sound very nice. 1 Quote

Thank you! - I'd agree, there's definitely a difference between the stock pickups and the new E4W's. There's some really nice depth to them over passive, obviously extra output and a really clean and sweet top end. I really like them and Nords are without a doubt a great pickup, no knocking. I feel my bass sound was more controlled with the EMGs. Quote
Dood Posted Wednesday at 20:37 Author Posted Wednesday at 20:37 (edited) Thank you, please LIKE my video, give my channel a follow and if you could, leave a positive message. I've shared this video today to groups with over 100K followers and have 9 likes. Honestly, it makes me feel like throwing in the towel when I see people would rather rant over some internet faker than support a 1 minute bass gear video Edited Wednesday at 20:37 by Dood 1 Quote
tauzero Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago After listening to this on both a laptop and a desktop running through a hifi system, the bass gets a bit obscured by the backing track - it's where it would be in a normal mix but that's a bit far back when the point of the video is to showcase the pickups. Still, liked and subscribed because you're worth it. Quote
