Given the state of the canine breakfast the accent is on the SHOULD.

 

Any bets it won't disable the DI at the same time?

Dont think Ive ever turned the master down once setup after sound chk. Seems an odd problem to have.

I think MartinB has it - if you like the tone of the DI from the amp, just stick a plug in the headphone socket, as long as that doesn't also mute the DI. A very cheap technical fix.

Not to hand but I recently got a mk2 and the DI out is definitely affected by the master volume
