Did you miss Habitat's new 'Bass Furniture' range :)

All joking aside, listing these two here as despite them being a rather elegant piece of storage furniture in their own right, I used them in my studio for years as both seating and instrument storage.....

As you can see, a rather elegant solution for the multibass owner, and one that allow you, if you're clever, to keep the true number of basses at home something of a secret 🤔

Having something of a studio clear-out at present hence the sale

Stock photo here, I'll get photos of the actual units up later today/tomorrow.

£300 each. These will be collection only from Whitstable or delivery if I happen to be going your way 👍

Going anywhere near the Lake District?

I'm heading to Yorkshire in two weeks but may have to use train depending on timings, I'll keep you posted 👍

I'm sure you can easily carry it on the train...

Do you know Chris Laurens by any chance? His dad used to run an antique shop in Whitstable.

Not an easy lift trust me, I had to move them down the stairs recently, one of those jobs that you realise midway through doing on your own that you need two people for!

I do not know Chris but will keep an eye out 👍

Oh... Wish you were closer! Something else to add to my list of filters on Facebook marketplace and gumtree...

They come up occasionally but often around £400-450 :(

That is a VERY elegant solution.

It is, it's almost worth buying more basses to justify having one, have to say I'm not sure you'd get a 35" 5er in however 🤔

How have you partitioned this up to separate the basses @Beedster?

I placed felt panels between them, admittedly I still had to be careful moving them in and out, but it remained a very nice - and as my daughters put it, very aesthetic - solution for bass storage 👍
