I always thought JK was a bit of a pillock, but absolutely loved the Zender era music they produced.  They definitely lost something when he left IMHO.

Totally agree regarding that line up. I was lucky to see them play on the old Jazz stage at Glastonbury '93. They were on just before The James Taylor Quartet who headlined. I danced a lot that day!

Nick Van Gelder left to form Akimbo with Simon Bartholomew from The Brand New Heavies. Loved his drumming with the early Ozrics too 👌

Even those that aren't pillocks now probably were on their way up and at the top of their curve....
