Recently received and been wanting to try it for a while. I think if I didn’t have a JHS Punchline and wasn’t in the process of getting a 2nd I’d love this and keep this.

Anyway, like new, boxed, bag, manual, mint condition.

I mean it would certainly do it. Currently I’m a little biased as I’m enjoying having a cab sim on my DI, which I just think sweetens any and every pedal up, so I’d pair it with a Palmer DI with it’s cab sims, or the Darkglass Element (my current fav).

But you won’t have any issues with it, it’s got enough power to drive a line into a passive or active di, you’ve got great tone shaping, it’s a smooth motowny sound from the get go (which all Beta’s are famous for)

You might want to ask your question here as I’m clearly trying to sell you on it:

If I didn’t have a JHS Punchline (and a JF Capo) I wouldn’t be selling this.

side note - happy to remove this post @tayste_2000 if you prefer…

I think this is my old one. A fellow BC’er borrowed it and loved it. Bought his own MkV and felt mine had a broader gain sweep - basically he couldn’t get his to go as low gain as mine. Dunno what the deal was but this one certainly has a wide gain range. I keep thinking I should buy it back but recently got a Taurus Servo and a Pork&Pickle and just don’t have the space for it.

Thank you guys for the reply’s so far, can you get this thing to be basically a clean boost or is there always going to be at least light breakup? A lot of the reviews an audio samples have the gain dialled up so it’s hard to gauge
