NOT the new heads though as they haven't shipped over here yet. I trawled the guitar section and didn’t see that but it was the new heads I wanted to look at really. Glad I didn’t miss them! 1 Quote

Sean Posted Wednesday at 17:43 Posted Wednesday at 17:43 (edited) Who's getting one? And which one? The 2001 is monstrous. And that's just the spec. imagine what it's like for real. Edited Wednesday at 17:44 by Sean Quote

And that's just the spec. imagine what it's like for real. The temptation is strong indeed. It depends how close the tone is to the old ones for me. I'd love that old RB tone in a modern reliable and dependable package. One of my vintage RBs is poorly, and it's possibly terminal, and I can't find anyone to fix it, the other two are ok for the time being, but who knows what the future will bring. I have a modern Class D Legacy 800 too, it's not the same, but it has it's place. I would be looking at the 1001RB Legacy, and that would be way more power than I would ever need. Quote

agedhorse Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Stan Lawrence is a very competent service professional. He may be a little more expensive than an average technician, but I would also suggest that in this case you get (more than) what you pay for. 1 Quote

I've used Gee electronics in Warrington who were very good. Experienced with solid state stuff too, as a lot of amp repair places seem to focus on valve stuff. 1 Quote
