Hi All ,

didn't see a thread about this so I started one. Ive considered buying basses online a few times however the thing that has always stopped me is the thought of receiving a bass with a neck like a crossbow. What online stores have people used that they have had good customer service experiences with when something went wrong.
Ive never used them but APPARENTLY soundslive are quite good.
I can vouch for soundslive, they were superb. I brought a Korg rack tuner and for some reason with my bass it wound waver between a couple of lights while my cheaper pocket tuner was more accurate and stable! The MD personally phoned me up and tried to help sort the problem and when he failed had the kit collected. I was so impressed i just got a credit note a respent the money in his shop by way of a thankyou.

Online retailers (or mail order, etc.) are legally obliged to give you a seven day cancellation period on completion of the contract (ie. getting the item) in which you can return the item for a full refund. I can't remember if that's seven working days or just seven days.

Google for 'Distance selling regulations'.
