Assuming the cut didn't go all the way through the body, then the only way I could do this would be to assemble the top, cut the cover, glue the top to the rest of the body, route the cavity and when all is done put the cover on. Yeah that's right the top is only 6mm thick so I cut that out separately on the the laser engraver then glue the top onto the body and use that as the template to rout the body shape, then I rout out all the cavities, fit the magnets and hey presto flush mounted pickguard 👍🏻 1 Quote
