For sale/trade is my terror bass 500 watt amp head with power cable, speakon, padded bag and all paperwork.  Fantastic condition, no damage and fully working. This thing is loud. I’m looking for a combo, ideally same power, 210 configuration, ampeg, ashdown, fender

£300 collection preferred

Edited - Sorry, I copied the specs for the new version. The manual states full power into both 4 and 8 ohms but on another thread this was questioned and Orange tech support gave the following reply implying different power output dependent on ohms. I’m none the wiser.

 

Hi Darren,

 

The impedance switch works more like a limit switch.

The switch is connected to a limiter circuit. When 4 ohms is selected it bypasses an additional resistor, when in 8 ohms the circuit engages this additional 2.2k resistor.

This is to get the most out of your signal when matching impedance.

I don’t believe there to be any difference in this circuit from MK1 and MK2
