"Skylark Deluxe Electro-acoustic" any good ??

hi need a new acoustic and i love the look of these :) but wanted to know if it worth the £150. thanks

That's an 'electro-acoustic', so if you want a true acoustic it just won't cut it.

I have no idea if that bass is any good - but some of the g*it*rs look quite extraordinary (literally!) for the money. :rolleyes:

The basses are the ususal unimaginative afterthoughts. Sidelined [i]again[/i]... :)

Well it won't feedback (which electro/acoustics often do) but you won't be able to adjust the intonation (should it need it)with that type of bridge. I would have thought the main benefit of that design is that you can pack it up small and possibly ( although it does not say) play it through headphones. You'll still need to put it through an amp so no advantage over a sold bodied bass. If you do a search others have bought similar skeleton/silent basses Aria ? so their comments could be useful...
