Withdrawn from sale

SWR bass combo

350w or 450 with ext cab

Valve pre amp

Hand Made in the USA

and its LOUD and tighter than a gnats chuff, this is tight funk or disco at its best for an amp this size. ! and clear as a bell.

well, i was going to keep this but its just sitting in the room, so decided to sell it, its all working great and has a massive sound, its like a redhead only bigger sounding. i think swr only made this upgraded version for 1 year, and its super rare in the UK and it will be a while before you see another one as good..

Manual in PDF here... SWR silverado.pdf

But........But its Beautiful 🥰

look at its little happy face, all its little silver knobs looking at you, just begging you to play with them.

Iv not told it its for sale yet, it will just make it sad.

and i wanted to get a photo of it looking happy,

A bit like taking a photo of the wife 5 mins just before you tell her your divorcing her. cus your pumping her sister,

you may as well get a good photo first.

Or...you could take one 1 min after you tell her, you know, just to keep in ya wallet, just to make you smile now and again 🙂

Tasty. Built proper and bet it sounds fab. Too far away for me, shame. Also there's a rumour it weighs around 42Kg?... but I grew up on Trace Elliot so wtf don't care 😂. Think this combo wants to go travelling.

hi, its no lightweight thats for sure, its a quality solid build, if it fell down stairs it would prob take your wall out, but hay the combo would be fine 🙂 i too dont mind the weight of bass gear, i will always go with sound over weight so if it sounds good i dont care

if fact i pref heavy basses also, my wal iv had since the 80s is a ton in weight, and when i retired it cus its battered now, i could not find anything to replace it untill i tried the early G&L L2000 E. and i have a few of them now and all of them are very heavy, in fact doug wilkes has just made me a fretless jazz bass because i could not find an early G&L fretless, PED snapped up the last one i had hopes on and i missed the auction, ( come on ped youve had it long enough now 🙂  ) and i said make it using heavy woods, his reply was " be carefull what you wish for" and he was right,  that too is a tank, but man the sound of it, so yea i dont mind heavy,

regarding the sound, its just killer, tried all sorts of combos over the years, and for my tone and recording the swr is just hands down the best for lots of reasons.

check this out... really interesting read about steve rabe.

oh and anything good is worth travilling for 🙂

Loved my redhead. I imagine this is even better. If it wasn’t for two flights of stairs Silverado, you would’ve pulled!
