Would you reckon these are the same manufacturers?

The second one says it's Fender compatible but has a square derrière to the neck pocket, so selectively compatible, I would say.

oooh. great catch! didn't even notice. my  neck is definitely curved and not square.

that one is the only i've found with a 62mm neck pocket. i'm really hoping this fame one is 62mm.

Looking at the spec for the Fame PB neck, says last fret is 57.2 mm.

Now that would be a disaster!

Will call tehm today to check

They do sell fender player replacement necks. Would they possibly sell a body with a 5mm thinner neck pocket?

Ill find out.

They must be using an incorrect number there. That is the exact size of a fender guitar heel.

This one says 62.8

@lidl e

Glad to hear its a mistake so is still an option for you.

Yeah, i went ahead and ordered the body. I got an unfinished one though

I spoke to a fella on reddit who has one and he said the pocket was 62mm, which if true is perfect!

If it's a bit too big and there is a gap, i can put a shim on the side. Or hopefully the scratchplate will cover it.

Those neck pockets look rather  long. That would affect the scale length if a standard neck was fitted.

I think, and i hope I'm correct, it is because they are 62mm rather than 63.5 wide.

The few reviews i have found are all excellent.

Fingers crossed.  I think i will definitely be able to work with it, question is how much prep will be needed.
