So, for a while now I’ve been wanting to build/put together a standard Pbass body/neck but have an acoustic bass bridge/piezo pickup only! I’m not technically minded so wondering what electric mods I would need to do this? What pots/controls etc woukd I need to use? Basically like this but without the ‘p’ pickup

Did you want semi hollow like that one or solid body?

PIezo bridges and kits are available with the required controls.

I am thinking you will need some routing done to accommodate the battery etc most likely from the back

You can get a Graphtec Ghost system that replaces the saddles of a standard BBOT bridge.

If you don't want the route for the standard P-bass pickup you'll need to find an un-routed body, and anyway you'll need a different routes/cavities for the preamp and other bits.

Strangely enough the Mike Brooks bass collection video linked in the "do you know how many basses you own" question shows an Ibinez that he owns that looks just like what your photo shows and it has no pickup. He says it's great and they are relatively cheap to buy.

It is a semi hollow by the way so might not be what you are aiming for.
