The original is just a masterpiece - apparently NWR was inspired by going to see Weather Report with Jaco just prior to recording HMWYRS.

Well worth the effort to learn - it helps you understand control with groove at quick tempos.

Sure, it just comes down to what you define as sounding pretty much okay... the transcription from Bassist just doesn't sound okay to me.

If you're learning it as a technical exercise, then it doesn't make a whole lot of sense (to me) to learn anything other than the correct version.

This is the most accurate i have seen on the net.
The Db part is about the only time i have seen it written correct.
