Down-pointing midi cable?

Hi all,

I'm trying to find a downwards-pointing right angle midi cable, have been searching for 30 mins but no luck.

It's to be used in my HX Stomp and DMC.3xl, the 5 pins go along the bottom. All the right-angle midi cables I've found would have it top-pointing

Thomann have them but you need to be buying about 97 quids worth of other stuff or a £3 lead goes up to 11 with the postage. 

Maybe we should form a Thomann syndicate...

Quite expensive, but I made my own using Switchcraft MIDI jacks. They can be rotated when you build them so can be any of 8 different angles. I use mine with the HX Stomp also.

Thanks, is that just for one? Do you have to solder two together?

Yeah that’s just the one jack. You’d need two, and some mic cable, but means you can have the exact cable you need, length and orientation-wise

@Al Krow has some Rockboard Flax MIDI cables for sale and these can be angled up or down. 

Or these:

The above one has the two plugs angled oppositely. They do a version where both are the same orientation too I think.

And Rockboard also make non-adjustable angled MIDI cables.
