Roger Eve Posted August 18, 2020 Share Posted August 18, 2020 Help please: I have taken as a trade an I banez SR1300, lovely bass but seems to have a wierd harmonic sound to the strings, more pronounced when in passive mode. I have changed the strings and altered the bridge settings but the sound remains. Nothing seems to be loose, any ideas ? I also have an SRMS805 so I know it shouldnt sound like this! Osiris Posted August 18, 2020 Share Posted August 18, 2020 If it's a Chorus effect type sound it could be due to the pickups being too close to the strings.
