Parcel 'Shortlanded'. Anyone have any experience with this??

Hi,

I'm expecting a rather expensive delivery from a Reverb purchase and after reviewing the tracking details I can see that the status is showing as 'shortlanded'. Having Googled this term it appears it means either the parcel did not disembark the vessel at the port of arrival or that the parcel wasn't on the vessel or couldn't be found aboard the vessel to be disembarked. So not a good thing in any event...

Does anyone have any experience with having had a parcel 'shortlanded'? If so, what was the resolution?

I've contacted the seller and the courier, SkyNet (never heard of SkyNet apart from in reference to The Terminator!). So hopefully I'll hear something back soon, but if anyone has any advice/experience with 'Shortlanded' parcels, please let me know!
