SOLD ON EBAY 70’s CSL PLEXI BASS DAN ARMSTRONG STYLE WITH HARDCASE £499 Ipswich

 It’s a great example of CSL’s tribute to the Dan Armstrong  Plexi Bass.

Only selling as I want to get back from being a collector of basses that I don't play, I play my Nate Mendel precision most of the time, everything else stays in its case/bag or looks good on display.

These short scale basses were made by fugigen, same basses carrying Ibanez name also

The bass dates to the mid 70’s and is in great condition as you will see from the pictures attached.

Whilst the case is structurally sound it does show show signs of age, again shown in the pictures.

Price is £499 which is what I paid, I am in Ipswich if collecting otherwise £30 for delivery.

Wondering how it sounds, brightish I'm thinking?
Remember Ian Eyre of Curved Air played one (the DA version) back in early 70s - saw them live and that's the only thing I remember.

Phil Lynott was a famous user of the DA version, along with Jack Bruce IIRC. Also think Bill Wyman may have used one, he certainly used the wooden body DA basses (as he liked their short scale length I believe.)
