Could I ask you wonderful experienced bass types for your recommendations for a bass compressor.

It must have the following:

1. True bypass
2. Optical pref.
3. not physically too big.
4. not take out all the bass like most comps do
5. be no more than £100

Thanking you

Neil

Don't be fooled by the True bypass thing. In alot of cases, a good buffered pedal outperforms true bypass - especially if you have mutliple pedals in the chain/loop or/and long cable runs. True bypass and buffers are equally viable solutions as long as the pedals have been designed and built properly.

I would say you would be hard pushed to beat the MultiComp at a used price.

+2. Has internal trimpots to adjust compression of low and high range separately in multicomp mode. Someone here has one for sale
