A bass for bluegrass...

I play in an acoustic blues band and we stray into bluegrass on occasion. I mostly play EUB live, U-Bass in rehearsal, Double Bass if there's space and I got the Precision out for the last recording session. I'd focus on note choice, laying back in the pocket and having fun before i decided which instrument to choose, but then I already played DB, EUB and Slab.

If I could play just DB, I certainly would, but my instrument doesn't prevent me from playing bluegrass. If you're looking for an excuse to buy a DB, though, then I wholeheartedly support your decision!

Don't go and see @TheRev without taking a nice bottle of cider. Poor lad hardly ever gets to drink any ...

I've got 120 litres in the cider shed....most of it drinkable.

That's really good of you, thanks!  I may have to take you up on that offer (if you're sure you can stand my horrible playing haha!)

No problem, just PM me. I'm in most weekday evenings, most weekends I'm out playing.
