But I also fancy something a bit different, and the Supertwin appeals. Wilson_51_ Posted September 18, 2019 Share Posted September 18, 2019 I used to run two Super Compacts and now i run either a six10 or two10 depending on the situation. the 12 inch cabs have a flat response and what you put in is what you get out. Where as the 10s are Coloured and have a tone to them. I changed to the 10s becuase when i changed amp to an Ampeg, i wanted that vintage rock sound. i found it harder to get it out of the super compact. personally i found the 12s quite "sterile" which is in no way a bad thing and sort of hifi sound, the 10s more old school hope that helps! 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
