Hobbayne Posted April 25, 2019 Share Posted April 25, 2019 Whats going on with Bruces' P Bass jack socket? Looks like a stock late 70's Precision with the jack socket moved underneath a la Stingray. Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted April 25, 2019 Share Posted April 25, 2019 A modification I saw a few times on basses of the 80s was a balanced XLR fitted in addition to the jack - like the one my original Hohner B2A has as stock. Maybe its an XLR on the side of Bruce's bass? Good call. An XLR, before the locking Neutrik jack-socket came out. I had a 1/4" on a bass collapse on me during a gig when I was a brat.
